Official Jill A. Schuker Joins Global Communicators Board
of Senior International Advisers
Schuker Served in High-Level Positions in White House, National
Security Council, State and Commerce Departments, and U.S.
Mission to the U.N.
WASHINGTON,
DC (September 11, 2007) – Jill A. Schuker, a former special
assistant to President Clinton for National Security Affairs
and deputy White House communications director, has joined
the Global Communicators, LLC, board of Senior International
Advisers.
Ms. Schuker, president of JAS International, a strategic communications,
issues management, and media consulting firm based in Washington,
will join Global Communicators’ team of international counselors
that stretches across the United States and globally to Switzerland
and Dubai.
Jim Harff, president and CEO of Global Communicators, said
Ms. Schuker will add impressive national security and government
relations credentials to the agency. “Jill’s years of experience
in the Clinton Administration‘s National Security Council
and Commerce Department and the Carter Administration’s U.S.
Mission to the United Nations and State Department will enhance
our expertise in serving international clients.”
Ms. Schuker, a member of the Council on Foreign Relations,
has published numerous articles on public diplomacy, civil
liberties and security issues. She has served as an Adjunct
Associate Professor at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy
at Tufts University and currently is a Shapiro Fellow and
Adjunct Professor at George Washington University.
Since Global Communicators was founded a decade ago, it has
been retained by Western Switzerland, the Hashemite Kingdom
of Jordan, the Republics of Croatia and Kosova, Bolivia, Honduras,
Hamburg (Germany), Thailand, and major corporations, organizations
and prominent individuals including Professor Muhammad Yunus,
the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize laureate.
